Candidates must be residents of Wisconsin (WI) or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting.
The position can be 100% remote, but only within the state of Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Installation & Maintenance:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of a global Cisco wired and wireless network supporting voice, video, and data services for corporate and guest networks.
Technical Leadership & Project Management:
Provide hands-on technical leadership.
Manage simple to enterprise-wide projects from initiation to completion.
Develop scalable and reliable network infrastructure solutions aligned with business and IT objectives.
Risk Management & ITIL Framework:
Coordinate and implement low to high-risk network changes according to the ITIL framework.
Handle mission-critical areas while adhering to established designs and configurations.
Standards & Documentation:
Develop standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Establish and document standards and procedures for team review.
Perimeter Security:
Manage perimeter network security and firewalls.
Required Skills & Experience:
Cisco Experience: Experience with Cisco wired and wireless networks, specifically Cisco 9K Wireless, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Prime DNAC.
VOIP & Network Technologies: VOIP experience is a plus.
Palo Alto & Ekahau Experience: Required for network security and wireless network design.
Cloud Environments: Experience with cloud infrastructure and environments is preferred.
Process Documentation: Ability to write processes and guidelines.
Python & Solarwinds: Python scripting and understanding of Solarwinds is a plus.
Work Flexibility: Willingness to perform work outside of normal business hours, including on-call support and maintenance.
